Watch: SF9's Inseong Teams Up With Veteran Rock Singer Seomoon Tak To Cover Imagine Dragons' "Believer"

On October 16, KBS’s “Immortal Songs” aired the first part of an epic collaboration special titled “Oh My Star,” where singers teamed up with artists who had been their idols when they were younger.

Performers for this episode included R&B singer Jung In and solo artist Minseo, traditional Korean musician Nam Sang Il and “Miss Trot 2” third-place winner Kim Da Hyun, veteran rock singer and “Immortal Songs” legend Seomoon Tak and SF9’s Inseong, pop ballad singer Byun Jin Seob and MONNI’s Kim Shin Eui, Baekdoosan’s Yoo Hyun Sang and Yook Joong Wan Band, and first-generation hip hop artist Hyun Jin Young and trot singer and taekwondo star Na Tae Joo.

The special panel was made up of elite athletes, including 1988 Olympics judo gold medalist Kim Jae Yeob and 2020 Olympics pentathlon bronze medalist Jeon Woong Tae.

SF9’s Inseong and Seomoon Tak performed third and sang Imagine Dragons’ “Believer.”

The two artists won the round, but eventually lost to Kim Shin Eui and Byun Jin Seob. As expected of a legendary performer lineup, it proved difficult for any duo to win more than one consecutive time. Eventually, Yook Joong Wan Band and Yoo Hyun Sang won twice to take home the final trophy for the episode.
