Lee Do Hyun And Im Soo Jung Lock Eyes And Connect On An Emotional Level In Upcoming Drama "Melancholia"

tvN’s upcoming drama “Melancholia” released new stills of Im Soo Jung and Lee Do Hyun!

Set in a private school that is rife with corruption, “Melancholia” will tell the story of a passionate math teacher named Ji Yoon Soo (played by Im Soo Jung) and a former math prodigy named Baek Seung Yoo (played by Lee Do Hyun), who fight to overcome social conventions and prejudices together.

The new sneak preview portrays the special and warm exchange between Ji Yoon Soo and Baek Seung Yoo, who are connected to one another through the subject of math. In the stills, Baek Seung Yoo offers Ji Yoon Soo ice cream at the playground. Ji Yoon Soo’s eyes open wide in surprise at Baek Seung Yoo’s unexpected appearance while he nonchalantly passes her ice cream, making viewers curious about what occurred during the scene.

Furthermore, another still captures Ji Yoon Soo and Bae Seung Yoo staring into each other’s eyes amidst a beautiful green scenery. Despite Baek Seung Yoo’s rough expression, Ji Yoon Soo still smiles gently, reflecting her experience as a seasoned teacher.

Im Soo Jung and Lee Do Hyun flawlessly immersed themselves into their characters as well as the beautiful background, creating a refreshing and pure atmosphere. Rather than looking for a fixed answer like in a math problem, the two actors will focus on the process of finding the solution through the upcoming drama.
