Apink's Son Naeun Talks About How Acting Has Changed Her + Preparing For New Drama With Rain And Kim Bum

In a recent interview and pictorial for Marie Claire magazine, Apink’s Son Naeun opened up about the joys of acting!

The idol-turned-actress is currently appearing in JTBC’s “Lost” alongside Ryu Jun Yeol and Jeon Do Yeon, and she is also busy filming her upcoming drama “Ghost Doctor” (literal title) with Rain and Kim Bum.

Describing how acting has changed her perspective, Son Naeun remarked, “After starting to worry over acting, I began to see things differently—to see things I hadn’t seen before. Above all else, I enjoy the process of pondering and preparing to become a character. During that process, I feel like I’m learning new things one by one and growing as a person, and my emotional spectrum also grows. I feel like I’m being filled up to the brim.”

As for how she is preparing for her role as a medical intern in “Ghost Doctor,” Son Naeun shared, “I’m playing an intern, so I’m studying up on medical terminology and watching relevant documentaries. I like that acting enables me to experience things I’d never be able to experience otherwise in my entire life.”
