SEVENTEEN Tops Oricon's Daily Album Chart With 'Attacca'

SEVENTEEN’s latest album “Attacca” is a hit in Japan!

On October 23, Oricon revealed their latest album rankings for the day of October 22. SEVENTEEN’s ninth mini album “Attacca” topped the daily album chart with 104,667 copies sold in Japan.

SEVENTEEN’s “Attacca” was released on October 22 at 1 p.m. KST and sold over 530,000 copies globally in only two days. Following their release, the album and title track “Rock with youtopped iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 16 countries and iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 19 countries. “Rock with you” also rose to the top of Korean realtime music charts including Bugs, Melon, and Genie as well as Japanese music charts like Line Music, RecoChoku, and more.

“Attacca” is a musical term that directs the musician to begin the next section immediately without pause. SEVENTEEN’s album is fitting titled “Attacca” as it expresses the uncontrollable, passionate feelings of love for someone.
