Kang Ye Won Tests Positive For COVID-19

Actress Kang Ye Won has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On October 25, her agency J-Wide Company shared, “Kang Ye Won tested negative for COVID-19 on October 21, but due to her poor condition, she voluntarily took a retest on October 23, and she tested positive on October 24. She is following the health guidelines and maintaining self-quarantine at home.”

Kang Ye Won initially underwent testing at the recommendation of the production team of JTBC’s new drama “Just One Person” (literal translation). Her staff members also got tested for the virus, and all of their results were negative. Due to different filming schedules, the other cast members weren’t affected.

“Just One Person” stars Ahn Eun Jin, Red Velvet‘s Joy, and Kim Kyung Nam and tells the story of a terminally ill woman who decides to kill one bad guy because she’s dying anyway. However, she instead meets just one person who becomes incredibly important to her life. The drama will premiere in December.
