"One The Woman" Ratings Hit New All-Time High As "Jirisan" Dips + "Yumi's Cells" Rises For Finale
SBS’s “One the Woman” shows no signs of slowing down!
On October 30, the hit comedy drama continued to gain viewers as it set a new personal ratings record—despite facing stiff competition from multiple new dramas. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “One the Woman” scored an average nationwide rating of 16.9 percent. marking a new all-time high for the show. The drama also successfully continued its 12-episode streak as the most-watched miniseries of the entire week.
Meanwhile, after making tvN history with its premiere last week, Jun Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon‘s new drama “Jirisan” dipped to an average nationwide rating of 7.9 percent for its third episode. However, the drama continued to take first place in its time slot across all channels—including public broadcast networks—among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 4.1 percent.
tvN’s “Yumi’s Cells” saw a rise in viewership for its season finale, which earned an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent. The romantic comedy also remained first place in its time slot across all cable channels among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 2.0 percent.
OCN’s new mystery thriller “Chimera” premiered to an average nationwide rating of 0.8 percent, while JTBC’s “Inspector Koo” scored an average rating of 2.6 percent for its own first episode.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Young Lady and Gentleman” remained the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 26.9 percent.
