BTS’s songs “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On” and their album “BE” have received new certifications in the United States.

On November 1, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced new certifications for BTS. Their 2020 summer hit “Dynamite” has now been certified triple platinum in the United States. “Life Goes On” has been certified gold, while the album “BE” has been certified gold and platinum.

According to the RIAA’s certification criteria, a song or album is certified platinum at 1 million equivalent units. Triple platinum means that a song has moved 3 million units. A single receives a gold certification at 0.5 million units.

The certification for “Dynamite” marks BTS’s first time that they’ve gone triple platinum in the United States.

BTS is currently nominated for three awards at the 2021 American Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, and the 2021 People’s Choice Awards. The group is also preparing for their first in-person concert since 2019 with a four-day show in Los Angeles in late November and early December.
