ENHYPEN's Heeseung Recovering From Surgery
ENHYPEN’s Heeseung has been revealed to be recovering from surgery.
On November 3, ENHYPEN’s agency BELIFT LAB announced that Heeseung recently underwent surgery to remove an epidermoid cyst on one of his toes and is currently resting, as recommended by his doctors.
The agency also announced that while Heeseung is planning to rest for a week, if recovery takes longer than anticipated, he may have to limit his participation in some of ENHYPEN’s performances at their upcoming fan meeting on November 19.
BELIFT LAB’s full statement is as follows:
Hello.
This is BELIFT LAB.
We would like to provide the following information on the current health status of ENHYPEN member Heeseung.
While taking part in activities for ENHYPEN’s first studio album, Heeseung experienced pain in one of his right toes and visited a hospital for examination, and was diagnosed with an epidermoid cyst. Following physician advice for timely treatment, Heeseung underwent surgery on Monday, November 1 immediately after the conclusion of album promotions. Heeseung is currently resting as doctors recommended a week of rest and recuperation.
However, should recovery take longer than expected, we ask for your understanding that Heeseung may be participating in a limited capacity for some of the performances for the 2021 ENHYPEN [EN-CONNECT: COMPANION] fan meeting, scheduled for the 19th. We will continue to monitor Heeseung’s recovery and determine his level of participation by taking into consideration physician advice and the artist’s condition, to make sure that he is not unduly strained.
BELIFT LAB will continue to place the highest priority on artist health and safety, and will do our utmost to ensure that Heeseung can join all fans healthy and well.
Thank you.
Wishing Heeseung a speedy recovery!
