Watch: Kim Da Mi And Choi Woo Shik Begin A Chaotic Love Story In 'Our Beloved Summer' Teaser

The first teaser has been released for “Our Beloved Summer”!

“Our Beloved Summer” is a romantic comedy that portrays the complicated feelings of a couple that broke up saying, “It was an awful time with you, let’s never meet again!” However, the documentary they filmed 10 years ago in high school suddenly gains popularity, and they’re forced to be in front of the camera together once more.

The new teaser starts with 19-year-olds Guk Yeon Su (played by Kim Da Mi) and Choi Woong (played by Choi Woo Shik) arguing back and forth while in an interview for their documentary. The scenes that follow show their playful dynamic that ends up with the two swearing never to see each other again. From chasing after each other in the hallway to splashing water and playing mischievous pranks on one another, the two are very much involved in one another’s lives, regardless of whether they like it or not.

Their levels of enthusiasm for the documentary are at heads too, with Guk Yeon Su cheerfully asking, “So it’s about the top student helping the worst student become a better version of himself, right?” while Choi Woong complains, “Is this an experiment of how long one can last next to someone who is too uptight and socially incapable?”

The teaser then skips over to show glimpses of how these high school students are doing an entire decade later as full on adults. Going back and forth between the two time periods, their past and present are portrayed as parallels.

The video ends with Guk Yeon Su saying as a high school student, “One thing for sure is that I will make sure to never have to see this frustrating kid again,” and then 10 years later, “Do we seriously have to do this?!”

“Our Beloved Summer” will premiere on December 6 at 10 p.m. KST. Watch the full teaser here!
