"Your Name" Director Makoto Shinkai Shows Love For TXT's New Japanese MV

Renowned Japanese filmmaker Makoto Shinkai has shown love for TXT’s latest music video!

On November 10 KST, TXT released the music video for the Japanese version of their hit song “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” (featuring Ikuta Lilas). Fans immediately noticed that the music video seemed to reference the famous 2016 Japanese animated film “Your Name,” which was written and directed by Makoto Shinkai.

One fan then tagged Makoto Shinkai on Twitter and asked, “What do you think of this ‘Your Name’-inspired music video by TXT?”

Just a few minutes later, the director thrilled fans by responding in a quote-tweet, “Beautiful. I love it!”
