IU And Son Jun Ho Test Negative For COVID-19 After Im Chang Jung Tests Positive
Singer IU and musical actor Son Jun Ho have tested negative for COVID-19.
On November 8, Im Chang Jung, IU, and Son Jun Ho attended Lee Ji Hoon‘s wedding. Not longer after, Im Chang Jung tested positive for COVID-19, and as a result, IU and Son Jun Ho underwent testing.
A source from Son Jun Ho’s label stated, “The quarantine authorities did not request Son Jun Ho to go into self-quarantine, and he has already received both vaccinations. He’s being tested regularly for his activities, and at this time, the preemptive test he took came out negative.”
IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment released the following statement:
Hello, this is EDAM Entertainment.
On November 8, IU was notified that one of the guests at an aquaintance’s wedding she had attended has been confirmed with COVID-19.
On that day, IU sang a congratulatory song while wearing a mask and immediately left the scene afterward, so she didn’t have any overlapping paths with the confirmed patient.
As a preemptive response, IU and all the staff members who attended the event underwent PCR testing, and everyone received negative results.
We will continue to do our best for the health and safety of artists by complying with the health authorities’ quarantine guidelines. Thank you.
