Lee Ji Hoon Says He Has Made Plans To Resolve Misunderstandings Over "Sponsor" In Person

Lee Ji Hoon has shared that he will be resolving the misunderstandings over his upcoming drama “Sponsor” with the relevant parties in person.

Last week, YTN Star reported that one of the “Sponsor” staff members had complained about an altercation with one of Lee Ji Hoon’s acquaintances who had been visiting him on set. Both the producers of the drama and Lee Ji Hoon’s agency responded by apologizing for the incident and clarifying the details of what had taken place.

That same day, writer Park Gye Hyung also claimed to YTN Star that he had been fired due to Lee Ji Hoon complaining about his screen time. Both the drama’s production team and the actor firmly denied the allegations through multiple statements, in addition to sharing screenshots of text messages from both writer Park Gye Hyung and Lee Ji Hoon as evidence.

On November 12, Lee Ji Hoon took to Instagram to update his fans and reassure them that he had made plans to resolve the misunderstandings about his new drama in person.

Lee Ji Hoon’s full statement is as follows:

You must have all worried a lot over the past few days, right! I’m writing this because I don’t want anyone to come under fire for the many misunderstandings that have arisen over the course of this drama’s production! I hope that everyone will be able to stay focused until the end of this drama and wrap it up well. We all came together with good intentions and the desire to work hard, and I feel nothing but apologetic that we gave the fans who are rooting for this drama cause for concern… and we’ve decided to meet and talk things through, so that we can resolve our few misunderstandings on a positive note. I will do my utmost in order to wrap up [this drama] with all of the production staff members who are working hard on set, as well as my fellow actors! I will become a more careful person in the future! In order to repay those who have always rooted for me, I will take responsibility for whatever [comes my way] and live my life even more diligently.
