BLACKPINK's Lisa Sets New Spotify Record As 'MONEY' Hits 200 Million Streams

BLACKPINK Lisa’s hip hop track “MONEY” has broken another record!

On November 14, YG Entertainment shared that Lisa’s “MONEY” surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify, achieving the feat in record speed for a K-pop solo artist.

The song reached this milestone 65 days after being released on September 10, also making it the fastest song by a female K-pop artist to achieve 200 million streams on Spotify. In comparison, BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” is the fastest song by a K-pop girl group to reach the same number of streams, having taken 87 days to do so.

Last month, “MONEY” also became the fastest song by a K-pop solo artist to reach 100 million streams, breaking the record previously held by Rosé’s “On The Ground.”

In addition, “MONEY” has been making waves on Spotify’s global chart, rising up to take the No. 5 spot. It has also remained on the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart for six consecutive weeks and the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two consecutive weeks.

Lisa recently participated in the collaboration single “SG” together with DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion. After its release on October 22, the single took the No.1 spot on iTunes Top Songs charts in 41 countries and also entered into the top 10 in Billboard’s Dance/Electronics Song Charts.

Congratulations to Lisa!
