ENHYPEN's Jungwon Apologizes For Comments About The College Entrance Exam
ENHYPEN’s Jungwon apologized for his recent comments about the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), the annual college entrance exam in South Korea.
On November 19, Jungwon stated, “I want to apologize for the words I said in yesterday’s V Live broadcast that didn’t take into consideration the feelings of those taking the college entrance exam. I was so excited at the thought of meeting ENGENE [ENHYPEN’s fan club] at the fan meeting in person after so long that I didn’t consider the feelings of the students who were studying for the college entrance exam. I realized that I am still immature and lacking. I’m sorry. I will become someone who thinks more carefully and deeply in future.”
In a V Live broadcast on November 18, Jungwon had said about fans who were attending ENHYPEN’s fan meeting on November 19, “Won’t the fans who are attending the fan meeting the day after the CSAT not do well on the test?” He added, “Well, the CSAT isn’t that important.”
The 2022 college entrance exam was held on November 18. ENHYPEN held their fan meeting at the KBS Arena on November 19 at 7 p.m. KST.
