Watch: Lee Ji Hoon, Han Chae Young, Ji Yi Soo, And Koo Ja Sung Talk About 1st Day Of Filming For "Sponsor"

iHQ’s upcoming drama “Sponsor” released a new behind-the-scenes interview!

“Sponsor” is a romance drama about the dangerous relationships between two men and two women who will stop at nothing to get what they want—and who even go looking for “sponsors” to help them achieve their desires.

The making-of video begins with an interview of Lee Ji Hoon, who plays Lee Sun Woo, an ambitious photographer who thirsts for vengeance. The actor shares, “Sun Woo is warmhearted, and he has great affection for his people, but due to a series of events, he could potentially become evil himself while fighting evil despite being a righteous character.”

Han Chae Young stars as the successful but greedy beauty brand CEO Han Chae Rin. In her interview, the actress comments, “Han Chae Rin is someone who runs towards success, and she can do anything if it’s for success.”

Ji Yi Soo, who plays rising star Park Da Som, shares, “Da Som is a character with motherly love who will do anything necessary for her sick child.” Koo Ja Sung, who has taken on the role of her husband Hyun Seung Hoon, comments, “He’s a character who is very greedy for success, but he becomes confused due to a conflicting decision between success and family.”

The actors laugh brightly on set and take pictures as Lee Ji Hoon explains that it’s their first time filming together and adds that he had an enjoyable time with the cast. Han Chae Young also expresses her hopes to quickly get closer to the other actors so that they can have even more fun filming.

Ji Yi Soo shares, “I filmed a lot with the senior actors on set of the first shoot, and I think our chemistry is really great. The senior actors led the set really well, and I’ve been working hard to follow while filming.” Koo Ja Sung similarly reveals, “I felt a bit nervous and excited coming to the set after having just been sitting and reciting lines during the script reading, but the senior actors took such good care of me and led me well that we were able to film amidst a great atmosphere.”

Lee Ji Hoon also remarks that it’s his first time meeting everyone, but he adds, “Everyone has such great temperaments that I think it’ll be easy to approach them.” Han Chae Young hilariously comments that she had already run into Lee Ji Hoon and Koo Ja Sung before at the hair salon, and since Ji Yi Soo has an easygoing personality, they had fun filming from the start.
