Won Jin Ah And Shin Ye Eun Confirmed To Star Alongside EXO's D.O. In Remake Of Taiwanese Film “Secret"
Shin Ye Eun and Won Jin Ah have been cast in a new film alongside EXO’s D.O!
On November 23, Shin Ye Eun’s agency NPIO Entertainment and Won Jin Ah’s agency Yooborn Company confirmed that the two actresses are starring in the film “Secret” and are currently filming.
“Secret” is a Korean remake of the 2008 Taiwanese film of the same name that tells the story of a piano genius who transfers to a new school and meets a girl who plays the piano in an old music classroom.
D.O. was previously revealed to be playing the male lead, named Ye Xiang Lun (played by Jay Chou) in the original film. The female lead, called Lu Xiao Yu (played by Gwei Lun Mei) in the Taiwanese version, will be played by Won Jin Ah. Shin Ye Eun will be a different female lead who will play a more important role in the remake compared to her Taiwanese counterpart.
The Korean film will be directed by Seo Yoo Min, who has worked on films including “Happiness,” “April Snow,” “You Call It Passion,” and “Recalled.”
“Secret” is aiming for release in 2022.
