MBC’s “The Red Sleeve” shows no signs of slowing down!
On November 26, the new historical romance drama starring 2PM’s Lee Junho and Lee Se Young achieved its highest viewership ratings yet. According to Nielsen Korea, the fifth episode of “The Red Sleeve” jumped to an average nationwide rating of 8.8 percent, marking a significant increase in viewership from its previous episode.
Additionally, for the first time since its premiere, “The Red Sleeve” managed to take first place in its time slot across all channels, beating out SBS’s popular romance drama “Now We Are Breaking Up” (which airs in the same time slot).
However, despite ceding its place at the top of its time slot, “Now We Are Breaking Up” still stayed strong with an average nationwide rating of 7.0 percent for its latest episode.
Finally, tvN’s “Happiness” rose to an average nationwide rating of 3.5 percent for the night. The apocalyptic thriller also remained first place in its time slot across all cable channels among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 2.3 percent.
