aespa’s Karina, Winter, and Ningning have reported that they tested negative for COVID-19.

Although SM Entertainment has not yet released an official statement, Karina, Winter, and Ningning have all individually taken to DearU Bubble to reassure their fans that their COVID-19 test results came back negative after they were tested at the airport due to cold symptoms.

Meanwhile, Giselle previously entered Korea on her own as the only member of aespa without cold symptoms.

aespa’s Karina, Winter, and Ningning are currently waiting to enter Korea at Incheon International Airport due to COVID-19 testing.

On November 28, aespa returned to Korea after flying to New York for the 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, where they became the first K-pop girl group ever to perform at the famous annual event.

However, Giselle wound up reentering the country alone, while her bandmates Karina, Winter, and Ningning stayed at the airport to undergo COVID-19 testing due to exhibiting cold symptoms.

aespa’s agency SM Entertainment officially stated, “Because of their cold symptoms, Karina, Winter, and Ningning underwent COVID-19 testing as part of their entry procedure.”

With the three aespa members awaiting their results at the airport, Giselle reentered Korea first on her own.
