4 Of The Sweetest Moments Between The OTP In Episodes 5-6 Of "Now We Are Breaking Up"
In the most recent episodes of “Now We Are Breaking Up,” viewers were able to see more fateful encounters between Jae Guk (Jang Ki Yong) and Young Eun (Song Hye Kyo). The emotions between the two seem to be progressing very rapidly, and it’s only making us want the two to be together. Here are four of the sweetest moments between the two main leads from the recent episodes.
Warning: Spoilers ahead!
1. That very emotionally intimate moment when the two cross paths in the design room
Young Eun is working at Sono, and they face a predicament with Claire Marie. The stress and tension is high as they work to resolve the issues in the company. On top of this, Young Eun finds out that Jae Guk is also collaborating with the company. The two will be bumping into each other quite a bit as a result, and Young Eun isn’t sure how to feel about it.
This moment in this particular scene was so brief but so emotional. Seeing as how Jae Guk confessed his feelings to her the last time they met, this moment of the two brushing past each other ever so slightly made us all want to scream with excitement. The tension and emotions can be felt so strongly.
2. Young Eun finding out that Jae Guk took that photo she bought
10 years prior, Young Eun buys a photograph on the streets of Paris. The photo catches her eye as she’s busily running errands; the photo speaks to her and brings her comfort in the midst of all the stress she is experiencing as a result of work. She buys the photo and cherishes it for many years to come.
Young Eun is very emotional about this photo as she realizes just how intertwined their paths were. She mentions that on this particular day, it was very hard for her to get through the day, but that photo brought her an immense amount of comfort. She was emotionally connected to the photo and felt that it understood what she was going through. She is finally able to connect the dots and see that Jae Guk was the one who took the photo and the one who indirectly comforted her all those years. It’s a touching moment and very significant in Young Eun realizing her feelings for him.
3. Young Eun and Jae Guk opening up in the design room
While Young Eun is working away in the design room, she bumps into Jae Guk who is eating lunch on the floor. Jae Guk shares some history about his career, and the two sift through photos that he has taken.
The two seem to be opening up to each other a bit more, and Young Eun seems to be more inviting towards Jae Guk. It is also in this scene that Young Eun finds the inspiration for a design as a result of one of his photos, which helps alleviate a lot of the stress that was on her mind recently. It is realized through this scene that the two really do share a strong connection and inspire each other.
4. Jae Guk running to meet Young Eun
Jae Guk calls Young Eun late at night, and to his surprise, she tells him that she misses him and wants to see him. With a big smile on his face, Jae Guk takes a cab and runs to where she is. Young Eun agrees to give him a chance despite her reluctance in wanting to start anything.
Jae Guk is so ecstatic with everything she is saying in this moment, and it is so sweet seeing him so happy. He embraces her, and the warmth and relief can be felt through the hug. I am so glad that Young Eun has opened up her heart enough to let Jae Guk in! We can prepare our hearts for some very sweet moments to come courtesy of our fashion photographer!
