Watch: Wanna One Previews Their Upcoming Special Performance For 2021 MAMA In New Teaser

Wanna One is gearing up for the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)!

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Wanna One would be reuniting for 2021 MAMA. The 11-member group was formed as a project group on Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” and promoted for less than a year and a half starting in August 2017. In the newly released teaser, Wanna One reunites as a group as they express anticipation for their upcoming special stage.

After introducing themselves as Wanna One, NU’EST’s Minhyun shares, “It’s exciting to have gathered together for the first time in a while.” CIX’s Bae Jin Young comments, “[It’s nice] to be able to stand on stage with the Wanna One members.” Ong Seong Wu, Park Ji Hoon, and Kang Daniel state, “It’s like a scene that you would run into in a dream, but it feels new now that day has actually come.”

Yoon Ji Sung and Ha Sung Woon continue, “We’re looking forward to showing more new sides of us,” and Kim Jae Hwan reveals, “I also missed us promoting together as a team.”

Park Ji Hoon shares, “I’m really glad to see the members for the first time in a while, and I’m happy at the thought of seeing fans in person.” Ong Seong Wu adds, “Even when we were practicing, the atmosphere was really good like we had just seen each other yesterday.” Kim Jae Hwan shares, “We’re preparing a stage fans will like, so please look forward to it a lot.”

AB6IX’s Park Woo Jin gives a slight dance spoiler of their upcoming performance, which appears to be from their debut title track “Energetic.” Ha Sung Woon explains, “Some fans might have caught on, but we’re preparing a cool stage for everyone in addition to this, so please look forward to it a lot.” Kang Daniel shares that Wanna One is practicing hard to meet everyone’s expectations, and AB6IX’s Lee Dae Hwi concludes by sharing, “Everyone, let’s meet at the 2021 MAMA on December 11!”
