Ong Seong Wu In Talks To Star In New Mystery Thriller Drama
Ong Seong Wu may be starring in an exciting new drama!
On November 30, Ong Seong Wu’s agency Fantagio responded to reports that he had been cast in the new OCN drama “Blind” (literal translation) by clarifying that while he had been offered a role, he was merely in talks and had not yet accepted the offer.
A representative of Fantagio stated, “‘Blind’ is one of the projects for which Ong Seong Wu has received a casting offer. Nothing has yet been decided.”
“Blind” is a new mystery thriller about ordinary people who become victims of crime—and ordinary people who inadvertently become perpetrators by turning a blind eye to injustice. The drama will center on the stories of a detective, a judge, a law school student, and nine jurors.
Ong Seong Wu has been offered the role of Ryu Sung Joon, a passionate and free-spirited detective who was born into a privileged and loving family. As a fan of superhero movies, Ryu Sung Joon grew up dreaming of fighting evil and saving the world, and he is both fiercely determined when catching culprits and heartwarmingly compassionate when meeting victims.
“Blind” is currently slated to premiere in 2022.
