BTS, BLACKPINK, NCT, TWICE, And TXT Make Billboard's Year-End Charts

Billboard has released their year-end charts for 2021, including the year-end Hot 100 Songs, Billboard 200 Albums, and Top Artists!

BTS had two songs on the Hot 100 Songs chart for 2021: “Butter” and “Dynamite.” Last year, BTS set the record for the highest peak on a year-end Hot 100 Songs chart by a Korean act with No. 38 for “Dynamite.” In 2021, BTS beat that record with “Butter,” which ranked No. 11. “Dynamite” ranked No. 41 this year.

BTS, BLACKPINK, and TXT all entered the Billboard 200 Albums chart for 2021. This is TXT’s first appearance on the main albums chart for the end of the year. The rankings were as follows:

40. BTS’s “BE”
113. BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7”
197. TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE”
200. BLACKPINK’s “The Album”

BTS placed first on the Top Artists – Duo/Group chart for 2021, ranked No. 12 on the general Top Artists chart, ranked No. 8 on the Hot 100 Artists chart, and No. 1 on the Hot 100 Artists – Duo/Group chart. The group also ranked No. 29 on the Billboard 200 Artists chart for 2021 and placed first on the Billboard 200 Artists – Duo/Group chart. On the Global 200 Artists chart, BTS ranked No. 4 and BLACKPINK’s Lisa ranked No. 84.

BTS’s “BE” and “Map of the Soul: 7” ranked on the Independent Albums chart at No. 5 and No. 11 respectively. TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” ranked No. 16 on the Tastemakers Albums chart and BTS’s “BE” came in at No. 25 on that chart as well. On the Streaming Songs chart, BTS’s “Butter” remix with Megan Thee Stallion came in at No. 65. BTS topped the Digital Song Sales Artists chart as well.
