BTS's Jimin Makes SoundCloud History As "Promise" Becomes 1st Song Ever To Surpass 300 Million Streams

BTS’s Jimin has officially made SoundCloud history!

On December 7 local time, SoundCloud announced that Jimin’s self-composed song “Promise” had become the first song in the history of the platform ever to surpass 300 million streams.

SoundCloud confirmed on Twitter, “With an incredible 300M streams, ‘Promise’ by Jimin is now the most streamed song on SoundCloud. Congratulations!!!!”

Jimin originally released “Promise,” a deeply personal song for which he co-composed the music and lyrics, on SoundCloud on December 31, 2018—meaning the song took less than three years to reach the historic milestone.
