TWICE's "SCIENTIST" Remains No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2021, December Week 2
The top three songs remained the same same as last week. TWICE’s “SCIENTIST” repeats as the No. 1 song for the second consecutive week. Also holding onto No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, are aespa’s “Savage” and IU’s “strawberry moon.” Congratulations to TWICE!
There are two new songs in the top 10 this week.
Debuting at No. 5 is “ELEVEN” from IVE, a much-anticipated new girl group from Starship Entertainment including Yujin and Wonyoung from IZ*ONE. “ELEVEN” is the title song from their debut single album of the same name. It is a pop dance song that expresses how the heart of a girl in love becomes tinted with mystical colors.
“Peaches” by EXO’s Kai debuts at No. 9. The title track from Kai’s second mini album of the same name, “Peaches” is a medium tempo R&B genre song that compares the romantic moments spent with a lover to a sweet peach and expresses the feeling of wanting to stay with that person in a place like paradise.
