Gong Myung Enlists In The Military
Gong Myung has enlisted in the military today!
Previously, his agency Saram Entertainment shared that Gong Myung will be enlisting in the military on December 14.
Gong Myung will receive four weeks of basic military training before being assigned to a unit to serve as an active duty soldier. The time and location of his enlistment was kept private in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Prior to enlisting, Gong Myung shared photos of his new buzz cut. He wrote in the caption, “I’ll be back safely!”

Saram Entertainment also shared a video of Gong Myung’s goodbye message.
With a bright smile, the actor said, “Hello, this is actor Gong Myung. I have enlisted the military in order to fulfill my national duty. I at least get to say goodbye to you through a video. There are many things I want to say to you face to face, but please understand that I am greeting you this way. When the day comes when I can see you, I wish to make eye contact with each of you. I will come back with a healthy body and mind, so please wait for me. I’d like to thank to all the fans who loved me and my projects and tell them that I love them. Thank you.”

Born in 1994, Gong Myung began acting through the 2013 web drama “After School: Lucky or Not.” Afterwards, he starred in various dramas such as tvN’s “Drinking Solo,” JTBC’s “Melo Is My Nature,” and SBS’s “Lovers of the Red Sky,” as well as the film “Extreme Job.”
