NCT 127 Becomes 1st K-Pop Artist To Spend 12 Consecutive Weeks On Billboard 200 With 2021 Album + Re-Enters Artist 100
Three months after its initial release, NCT 127’s latest album “Sticker” has climbed back up the Billboard 200!
For the week ending on December 18, “Sticker” rose to No. 62 on the Billboard 200, jumping up by over 40 spots in its 12th consecutive week on Billboard’s main albums chart (which ranks the most popular albums in the United States).
With this latest achievement, NCT 127 has become the only K-pop artist to spend 12 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 with an album released in 2021. After making an impressive debut at No. 3 back in September, “Sticker” has successfully remained on the chart for every week since.
Only two other K-pop artists have ever managed to chart an album for 12 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200: BTS and BLACKPINK.
“Sticker” also climbed back up several other Billboard charts this week. The album shot back up to No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, No. 4 on the Independent Albums chart, No. 5 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 8 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Additionally, NCT 127 re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 67 this week.
Congratulations to NCT 127!
