NCT 127, TWICE, BTS, TXT, ITZY, And BLACKPINK Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week of December 18!

Three months after its release, NCT 127’s third studio album “Sticker” shot back up to No. 1 on the World Albums chart this week. “Sticker” also climbed back up several other Billboard charts, including the Billboard 200, where it became the first K-pop album of 2021 to spend 12 consecutive weeks on the chart.

TWICE’s latest studio album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” stayed strong at No. 2 in its fourth week on the World Albums chart, in addition to becoming the first K-pop girl group album of 2021 to chart for four weeks on the Billboard 200.

BTS landed a total of five albums in the top 15 of this week’s World Albums chart: “Map of the Soul: 7” climbed to No. 3, followed by “BE” at No. 6, “BTS, The Best” at No. 8, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 11, and “Map of the Soul: Persona” at No. 15.

TXT also landed two different albums in the top 15 this week. Their first Japanese EP “Chaotic Wonderland” debuted on the World Albums chart at No. 4, while their latest studio album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” spent its 28th consecutive week on the chart at No. 12, extending its own record for the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021. (“Chaotic Wonderland” also made its debut on the Billboard 200 this week, making TXT the only Korean artist to land three new entries on the chart in 2021.)

Finally, ITZY’s “CRAZY IN LOVE” held onto its spot at No. 9 in its 11th week on the World Albums chart, while BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” similarly maintained its position at No. 13 in its 62nd week.

Congratulations to NCT 127, TWICE, BTS, TXT, ITZY, and BLACKPINK!
