Watch: Han Ji Min, Lee Dong Wook, Kang Ha Neul, YoonA, Seo Kang Joon, And More Try To Close Out The Year On A High Note In New "A Year-End Medley" Trailer
“A Year-End Medley” has shared an exciting new trailer!
Upcoming film “A Year-End Medley” centers around the people who come to Hotel Emross, each with stories of their own, and build new relationships. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Han Ji Min, Lee Dong Wook, Kang Ha Neul, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, Won Jin Ah, Seo Kang Joon, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Young Kwang, Go Sung Hee, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Kyu Hyung, Jo Joon Young, Won Ji An, Lee Hye Young, and Jung Jin Young.
The trailer starts with all the characters enduring tough times as they prepare for the new year. In a voice-over, radio host Lee Kang (Seo Kang Joon) shares, “I feel so upset and lonely because it seems like this year might also pass without anything happening. How come magical things don’t happen in my life?”
However, there is a sudden change in pace as the caption reads, “Before this year ends, I will most certainly…!” The clip then cuts to hotel manager So Jin (Han Ji Min) sitting at a table with a fortune teller (Lee Kyu Hyung) who tells her, “Someone is definitely going to confess their feelings for you within the year.” She responds in disbelief, “There’s really not much time left in the year.”
When So Jin meets up with her longtime friend Seung Hyo (Kim Young Kwang), he says that he has something to tell her, making it seem like her fortune will come true. Instead, he tells her, “I’m… getting married.”
Before the year ends, the characters are also shown meeting new people, thriving in business, and visiting Hotel Emross. Jae Yong (Kang Ha Neul) firmly announces, “I’m going to go on vacation at a hotel, and then throw myself solely into work.” At the hotel, he shyly asks, “Could I request one of the top floors? As high up as possible?”
As all the characters start to get entangled with one another, Lee Kang shares on the radio, “What fun would it be if life unfolded as planned? Wouldn’t you find magical moments when things don’t go as planned?”
Finally, the characters all happily start their countdown to the new year as Lee Kang comments, “I hope that your new year is happier [than the last].”
“A Year-End Medley” hits theatres on December 29 and will also premiere on TVING. Watch the full trailer below!
