“Our Beloved Summer” has shared photos of a tense encounter between Choi Woo Shik and Kim Sung Cheol.

SBS’s “Our Beloved Summer” is a new drama about ex-couple Choi Woong (Choi Woo Shik) and Guk Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi), whose relationship did not end on good terms. Years later, the documentary they filmed 10 years ago in high school suddenly gains popularity, and they’re forced to be together in front of the camera once more.

Choi Woo Shik stars as Choi Woong, a popular illustrator, and Kim Sung Cheol plays his best friend Kim Ji Woong, a documentary director.

In the previous episode of the drama, Choi Woong and Guk Yeon Soo decided to film the reunion documentary, getting together in front of the camera for the first time in 10 years. However, the reunion was a mess right off the bat as Choi Woong mindlessly hurt Guk Yeon Soo’s feelings by telling her, “My life was ruined because of you.” On the other hand, Choi Woong felt betrayed when he found out that the project he had agreed to work on with Guk Yeon Soo’s company also involved his rival NuA (Kwak Dong Yeon).

In the new photos, Choi Woong and Kim Ji Woong are looking at each other with unfamiliar cold gazes that are completely different from their typical playful selves. As his best friend, Kim Ji Woong knows how complicated Choi Woong and Guk Yeon Soo’s relationship is and can see right through him. 10 years ago, he only watched them from afar, but this time around, his attitude is starting to evolve.
