Lee Da Hee Revealed To Have Been Injured On Set Of Upcoming Drama "Island"
Lee Da Hee is receiving treatment after being injured on set of her upcoming drama “Island.”
On December 20, a representative from Lee Da Hee’s agency Studio Santa Claus stated, “Lee Da Hee suffered a neck injury while filming an action scene in ‘Island.’ She was immediately transferred to the hospital and received an examination.” They continued, “It’s not a serious injury, so she’s receiving outpatient treatment while going back and forth to the hospital. She will not be able to attend the press conference for ‘Single’s Inferno’ today (December 20).”
Lee Da Hee will continue filming for the drama without straining her neck. The online conference for Netflix’s new dating reality show “Single’s Inferno” taking place later this afternoon will be held with Hong Jin Kyung, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, and Hanhae.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Island” is a fantasy exorcism drama taking place on Jeju Island. It depicts the sorrowful and bizarre journey of the characters who are fated to fight evil that’s trying to destroy the world. The drama is helmed by director Bae Jong of “Welcome to Dongmakgol” and “Fabricated City” and boasts a star-studded cast including Kim Nam Gil, ASTRO‘s Cha Eun Woo, Sung Joon, and more. Lee Da Hee will play third-generation chaebol and teacher Won Mi Ho.
