The SBS drama is about ex-couple Choi Woong (Choi Woo Shik) and Guk Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi), whose relationship did not end on good terms. Years later, the documentary they filmed in high school suddenly gains popularity, and they’re forced to be together in front of the camera once more.
Spoilers
On the previous episode of “Our Beloved Summer,” Choi Woong and Guk Yeon Soo ended up engaging in a cold conflict, which caused a change in Kim Ji Woong’s (Kim Sung Cheol’s) feelings. In addition, Choi Woong apologized to Guk Yeon Soo for everything and agreed to work on a collaboration with his rival Nu Ah (Kwak Dong Yeon). On the night before the project, Guk Yeon Soo visited Choi Woong’s house, and he shocked her when he suddenly asked her, “Do you want to sleep over?”
On December 21, the drama unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode. The photos depict Choi Woong and Nu Ah at the live drawing show, and there is thick tension between them. Choi Woong is completely immersed in his drawing, and his eyes are sparkling more than ever. Nu Ah, the one Choi Woong was involved in a plagiarism dispute with, is also focused on his illustration.
Guk Yeon Soo’s eyes are also filled with complex emotions. Perhaps it’s because of Choi Woong’s suddenly changed demeanor. Also at the show are Kim Ji Woong, who noticed the subtle change in her, and NJ (Noh Jung Ui), who made the venue buzz with excitement with her surprise appearance.
The drama’s production team stated, “Starting from episode 6 that airs today, Choi Woong’s and Guk Yeon Soo’s emotions will be released. There will be a decisive turning point in their relationship. Please listen to Guk Yeon Soo’s confession, which will be a different story from Choi Woong’s and Kim Ji Woong’s.”
The next episode of “Our Beloved Summer” will air on December 21 at 10 p.m. KST.
