Jung Ho Yeon Makes History As 1st Asian Independent Cover Model For U.S. Vogue Magazine
Jung Ho Yeon has become the first Asian and Korean star to independently grace the cover of America’s Vogue magazine!
On January 6, Jung Ho Yeon’s agency Saram Entertainment commented, “Jung Ho Yeon has become the first-ever Asian solo cover model for US Vogue. As this is an extraordinary happening in the global fashion industry, it helps us estimate how incredible Jung Ho Yeon’s star power is.”
Following the pictorial, Jung Ho Yeon sat for an interview where she discussed how busy her life has become after the huge success of “Squid Game.” Recalling the day “Squid Game” was released, Jung Ho Yeon commented, “In just one month, my entire life was completely changed.”
Due to her success, she shared, “I learned English, I trained my posture and voice, and worked hard to expand my worldview in terms of art and film.”
In response to Jung Ho Yeon, representatives from Vogue magazine commented, “If there’s one word to describe Jung Ho Yeon, it’s diligence. She works diligently and pays close attention to everything she does, until it feels like it has exploded.”
Jung Ho Yeon has been busy promoting all over the United States and has attended events such as the 2021 LACMA Art+Film Gala, the CFDA Fashion Awards, as well as the Gotham Awards, where “Squid Game” made history as the first Korean drama to win an award.
Jung Ho Yeon’s full photo shoot and interview will be available in US Vogue magazine’s February issue.
