Update: OMEGA X's Jaehan, Hangyeom, Jehyun, and Junghoon Recover From COVID-19

The four members who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month have recovered.

On January 18, their agency released the following statement:

Hello, this is SPIRE Entertainment.

We would like to inform you that OMEGA X members Jaehan, Hangyeom, Jehyun, and Junghoon have made full recoveries from COVID-19 and have been deemed by the health authorities as no longer at risk of spreading the virus.

Currently, all Omega X members, including Jaehan, Hangyeom, Jehyun, and Junghoon, are in healthy condition, and starting with the 31st Seoul Music Awards on January 23, they will resume their promotions for their second mini album “LOVE ME LIKE.”

We apologize for the concern, and we will continue to comply with the healthcare guidelines and place the health of the artists and everyone else as our top priority.

The remaining members of OMEGA X have tested negative for COVID-19.

Following the announcement by OMEGA X’s agency SPIRE Entertainment that four of the members had tested positive for COVID-19, the agency released another statement on the group’s official fan community regarding the test results for the remaining members.

Here is the agency’s full statement:

Hello, this is SPIRE Entertainment.

On January 9, OMEGA X members Jaehan, Hangyeom, Jehyun, and Junghoon tested positive for COVID-19.

In accordance with the guidelines of the health authorities, Jaehan, Hangyeom, Jehyun, and Junghoon have been separated from the other members and staff and have begun their period of self-quarantine. They are currently exhibiting no other symptoms besides a mild headache.

All of the OMEGA X members have completed vaccination and received their booster shots. As the other OMEGA X members and staff have tested negative for COVID-19, they are beginning their period of self-quarantine. So far, they have not displayed any suspicious symptoms such as fever or respiratory problems.

As previously announced, OMEGA X has cancelled all scheduled activities for the next two weeks, and we ask for your understanding in this matter.
