TWICE's "Formula Of Love: O+T=<3" Becomes 2nd K-Pop Girl Group Album Ever To Chart For 8 Weeks On Billboard 200
Two months after its release, TWICE’s latest album is still going strong on the Billboard charts!
On January 11 local time, Billboard revealed that TWICE’s third studio album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” had spent its eighth consecutive week on its famous Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States), making it the group’s first album ever to achieve the feat. For the week ending on January 15, “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” stayed strong at No. 148 on the Billboard 200.
On top of extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop girl group album released in 2021, “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” has now also become only the second K-pop girl group album in history ever to spend eight weeks on the Billboard 200 (following BLACKPINK‘s “THE ALBUM“).
TWICE previously made Billboard history with “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” in the first week of its release, when the album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200—making TWICE the first K-pop girl group in history with two top 10 albums.
“Formula of Love: O+T=<3” also came in at No. 3 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, No. 15 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 19 on the Top Album Sales chart this week.
Meanwhile, TWICE’s hit pre-release single “The Feels” spent its second consecutive week in the top 40 of Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States. After becoming the group’s first song ever to enter the chart last week, “The Feels” successfully held onto its spot at No. 40 this week.
“The Feels” also climbed back up to No. 64 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 94 on the Global 200 this week.
Congratulations to TWICE!
