Watch: Jung Hae In, BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Kim Min Kyu, And More Show Dedication To Their Roles On Set Of "Snowdrop"
JTBC has shared a new behind-the-scenes clip from “Snowdrop”!
Directed and written by the “SKY Castle” team, “Snowdrop” is set in Seoul in 1987. It is about the love story between Su Ho (Jung Hae In), a student at a prestigious university who rushes into a women’s university covered in blood one day, and Young Ro (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo), a student at the women’s university who hides and take care of him despite facing danger and close surveillance.
The video starts with a scene between Kim Hye Yoon, Kim Jung Hoon, Kim Jong Soo, and Jang Seung Jo as they discuss the mystery behind housemother Song. Later, Yum Jung Ah appears for her special appearance as housemother Song. (Yum Jung Ah starred in the drama “SKY Castle.”)
After introducing herself, Yum Jung Ah comments, “It’s a bit so-so to greet you like this with my makeup like I’m sick. I’m filming on a set with a lot of ‘SKY Castle’ staff members and it’s so fun and comfortable, as if I’ve always been here.”
The next scene features Jung Hae In and Jisoo as they learn the news of Young Ro’s brother’s passing. When Young Ro begs to be let out of the dormitory to see her brother one last time, Jung Hae In suggests that he drag her away silently, which the director instantly agrees with.
While waiting on set, Kim Min Kyu shows his gun to the camera and reveals, “The weight is exactly 32.2 kilograms (approximately 71 pounds). It feels like my shoulder is being dislocated.”
He switches spots with Jisoo and Yoo In Na, who both finish filming and sit behind-the-scenes together, showcasing their close friendship despite their tense on-screen relationship.
