Watch: YoonA Shares Video Of Rehearsal For 2021 MBC Music Festival Performance With Lee Junho

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA shared a behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals for her fiery couple performance with 2PM’s Lee Junho!

The 2021 MBC Music Festival took place on December 31, 2021, and was hosted by 2PM’s Lee Junho, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, and Jang Sung Kyu. As a special collaboration, Lee Junho and YoonA teamed up to perform Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes’ “Señorita.” The performance garnered a lot of attention and the official video on MBC Music’s channel currently has over 4.2 million views on YouTube.

On January 13, YoonA shared a video on her personal YouTube channel of rehearsals for the “Señorita” performance. Before rehearsals began, she shared, “This is my first time dancing since I did the boy group dances last time. We’ve already practiced together once before. Today is our last practice. Both 2PM and Girls’ Generation have experience, so I think it’ll wrap up quickly.”

During rehearsals, YoonA put on the boots she would wear for the actual performance. Both she and Lee Junho worked hard to match up their choreography. At the end, YoonA suggested, “What if we do something like [2PM’s] ‘My House’ for the ending?” Lee Junho took up the idea and said, “Should I take you by the hand and take you along? At the end?”

As rehearsal continued, Lee Junho introduced himself to the camera and said, “Girls’ Generation and 2PM crossover. In the past, we met quite often. When we were young. This is our 10-year reunion.”

The two idols-turned-actors then hyped up each other’s projects. YoonA mentioned that Lee Junho’s hit drama, “The Red Sleeve,” had wrapped up filming, and expressed her hopes that her own drama, which is still filming, would do well too. Lee Junho said encouragingly, “You’re going to take all of Asia by storm.” YoonA said gratefully, “If the king says so.”
