"Through The Darkness" And "The King Of Tears, Lee Bang Won" Achieve Their Highest Ratings Yet; "Snowdrop" Sees Dip
Both SBS’s “Through the Darkness” and KBS’s “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won” soared to new heights last night!
According to Nielsen Korea, on January 15, Kim Nam Gil‘s new drama “Through the Darkness” saw a significant rise in viewership for its second episode, which scored an average nationwide rating of 7.5 percent.
MBC’s “Tracer,” which airs in the same time slot as “Through the Darkness,” fell to an average nationwide rating of 7.7 percent for its fourth episode.
Meanwhile, KBS’s “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won” took first place in its time slot with an average nationwide rating of 11.0 percent, marking a new all-time high for the hit historical drama.
Over on cable, JTBC’s “Snowdrop” dipped to an average nationwide rating of 2.6 percent for its latest episode, while tvN’s “Bulgasal” fell to a nationwide average of 3.0 percent and TV Chosun’s “Uncle” rose to an average nationwide rating of 7.3 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Young Lady and Gentleman” continued its reign as the most-watched program to air on any channel on Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 32.5 percent.
