GOT the beat To Perform For First Time On "M Countdown"

SM Entertainment’s new project girl group GOT the beat is coming to “M Countdown”!

On January 19, SM Entertainment revealed that GOT the beat will be performing “Step Back” on the January 27 broadcast of “M Countdown.” The project group will captivate with their powerful music and performance as well as great synergy between the members.

GOT the beat is the first unit in SM Entertainment’s Girls on Top (GOT) project, where female SM Entertainment artists join forces in different sub-units. The seven-member group consists of BoA, Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon and Taeyeon, Red Velvet‘s Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa‘s Karina and Winter.

Earlier on January 3, the new project group released “Step Back,” an addictive hip hop and R&B track that ranked high on the music charts following its release. The choreography showcases the group’s charismatic aura, and the diverse formations highlight each of the individual members as well as the group’s synergy.
