INFINITE's Sungjong Parts Ways With Woolim Entertainment After 13 Years
INFINITE’s Sungjong will be leaving his long-time agency Woolim Entertainment!
On January 24, Woolim Entertainment released the following statement:
Hello, this is Woolim Entertainment.
We deliver our words of gratitude to the people who always send endless love and support for our agency’s artists.
As of the end of today (January 24), INFINITE member Lee Sungjong, who spent the last 13 years together with us, will be wrapping up management work with the company, and we will be supporting each other’s future days from our respective places.
The company sincerely expresses gratitude to Lee Sungjong, who spent a long time together with us, and we also give our thanks to fans who send unchanging love. We ask that fans continue to send support to Lee Sungjong.
On his personal Instagram, Sungjong also posted a handwritten letter expressing gratitude to the company and fans. He wrote:
Hello.
This is INFINITE’s Sungjong.
I will be staring a new challenge after leaving Woolim, which I have spent a long time together with.
I am grateful and thankful once more to CEO Lee Joong Yeop and Woolim Entertainment family for laughing with me when I was happy, being sad with me when I was sad, and staying by my side when I was having a hard time during the 13 years until now since my time as a trainee. I will not forget how thankful I am.
I am always grateful and grateful once more for INSPIRIT (official fan club), who always give endless love, and our members, and I love you all. I will always be by your side. Let’s be together.
I will definitely return the love from fans through various activities as a member of INFINITE and as Lee Sungjong in the future.

Last year, Sungjong renewed his contract with Woolim Entertainment and celebrated INFINITE’s 11th debut anniversary after being discharged from the military.
