Park Min Young, Song Kang, And More Try To Read The Weather And Each Other In 'Forecasting Love And Weather' Poster

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Forecasting Love and Weather” has released a new poster!

“Forecasting Love and Weather” is a new office romance drama about the work and love lives of the people at the Korea Meteorological Administration, who are more passionate than tropical heat and more unpredictable than torrential rainfall.

The new poster captures all nine of the principal cast members standing in the situation room with a weather map on one wall. The eclectic cast of characters struggle to balance their personal and professional lives, trying to forecast the fickle weather that can completely change with just 1 percent probability and also trying to read each other’s hearts that are even more difficult to predict. The caption reads, “I’m going crazy trying to get it right: the weather and that person’s heart.”

At the center of the cast are Jin Ha Kyung (Park Min Young) and Lee Si Woo (Song Kang), who are sharing their analyses with each other. As part of the spokesman’s office, Han Ki Joon (Yoon Bak) communicates with the rest of the team so he can better represent them in cases of crisis or accident. Chae Yoo Jin (Yura) takes notes as a weather reporter, while the department head Go Bong Chan (Kwon Hae Hyo) reviews his juniors’ work.

Senior forecaster Uhm Dong Wan (Lee Sung Wook), information and laser analysis action officer Oh Myung Joo (Yoon Sa Bong), local forecaster Shin Seok Ho (Moon Tae Yoo) and rookie employee Kim Soo Jin (Chae Seo Eun) also carry out their work diligently.

In order to correctly analyze the weather and accurately present the results, the team frequently consults with each other, shares documents and evidence, and give it their all to forecast the weather that could change at any moment in any way. This is the first drama to center around the workplace of weather forecasters and is expected to show the chemistry of a group of people who spend more time with each other than they do at home.

The production staff stated, “In order to make it as realistic as possible, the cast and crew all worked hard together. The actors immersed themselves in their characters as if they were really going to work every day in the weather forecasting service. The Korea Meteorological Administration works hard to predict and announce the weather faster than anyone in order to ensure the safety of citizens. Please look forward to the interesting stories of these people, who are both employees and people with rich inner lives.”

“Forecasting Love and Weather” will premiere on February 12 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser here!
