Former JYP Labelmates Sunye And 2AM's Im Seulong To Collaborate On New Park Jin Young Remake

Former Wonder Girls member Sunye and 2AM’s Im Seulong are teaming up for an exciting new remake!

On January 28, it was officially announced that the former JYP Entertainment labelmates would be collaborating on a remake of Park Jin Young’s 2007 song “Farewell Under the Sun,” which originally featured Sunye.

While “Farewell Under the Sun” received lots of love upon its initial release in 2007, it reentered the spotlight in recent years due to Suzy and Jung Seung Hwan’s viral cover in 2015, as well as Park Bo Gum‘s unexpected rendition of the song in 2018.

Sunye and Park Jin Young also recently performed the song during their much buzzed-about reunion on tvN’s “Mama the Idol,” where Sunye also reunited with her former Wonder Girls bandmate Sunmi for a duet version of “Gashina.”

Sunye and Im Seulong’s new remake of “Farewell Under the Sun” will be released online on February 4 at 6 p.m. KST.
