Watch: "Mama The Idol" Group M.M.D (With Jewelry, Wonder Girls, And After School Members) Drops Video For New Song "WooAh HIP"

M.M.D, the project girl group formed on the show “Mama the Idol,” released a fierce performance video for their new song, “WooAh HIP”!

“Mama the Idol” is a tvN variety show about the return of legendary stars who are also mothers. After taking some time off to give birth and raise their children, they will make a comeback as shining idols. Female stars who were once active as girl group members or actresses will be produced as a new girl group and receive training.

M.M.D (which stands for “MAMADOL”) consists of Jewelry’s Park Jung Ah, Wonder Girls’ Sunye, After School’s Kahi, Baby V.O.X Re.V’s Yang Eun Ji, Byul, and Hyun Jyuni. The group recently performed their new song, “WooAh HIP,” on “M Countdown.”

The new song, “WooAh HIP,” was released on January 28. It is a dance track in the Slap house genre with elements of trap, and was produced by RBW’s Kim Do Hoon and Seo Yong Bae. The song combines a trendy house beat with the voguing dance, promising a treat for both the eyes and ears. The message of the song is directed to everyone who is having a hard time, saying, “You too can become like us,” referring to the members’ comeback as idols after becoming mothers.
