The first match-up of Round 2 was between Oldboy and Happy Ending. Oldboy sang Lee Kwang Jo’s “You Are Too Far to Be Close” and impressed with his ability to portray emotional longing and desperation. Happy Ending sang BoA’s “Garden in the Air,” and charmed the audience with her sweet voice.

OIldboy won Round 2 and moved on to Round 3, while Happy Ending unmasked to reveal herself as VIVIZ’s Eunha. Eunha debuted as a member of GFRIEND in 2015 before the group disbanded and left Source Music in 2021. GFRIEND members Eunha, Umji, and SinB are currently preparing to re-debut as the three-member girl group VIVIZ.

Eunha shared that her goal for appearing on “The King of Mask Singer” was to put VIVIZ’s name out there. “VIVIZ is a group with SinB, Eunha, and Umji,” she said. “People might know us a little, but they don’t know yet the name VIVIZ. We’re preparing for a re-debut as experienced newbies. I’m in my eighth year since my debut, but I’m starting in a new group. In that time, there have been a lot of new groups that have debuted, and there are even kids born in 2007 who have debuted. I don’t know how to greet them or what to call them. I’m currently concerned about how to treat them so they don’t feel awkward or pressured.”

She continued, “Since it’s just the three of us, there is a feeling of pressure. We have both freshness and professionalism as experienced newbies, so please show us a lot of love.”
