Update: DRIPPIN's Hwang Yun Seong, Joo Chang Uk, Cha Jun Ho, And Lee Hyeop Test Positive For COVID-19

DRIPPIN’s Hwang Yun Seong and Joo Chang Uk have now tested positive for COVID-19, making them the third and fourth members of the group to be diagnosed with the virus following Cha Jun Ho and Lee Hyeop.

Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.

Our artists DRIPPIN members Hwang Yun Seong and Joo Chang Uk tested positive for COVID-19 on February 1.

Although they tested negative on January 31, they underwent another round of PCR testing because they had sore throats and cold-like symptoms, and on the morning of February 1, their additional test results came back positive.

Accordingly, they have halted all activities and are currently taking all necessary measures in keeping with the guidelines of government health authorities.

At present, Hwang Yun Seong and Joo Chang Uk have mild sore throat symptoms. Lee Hyeop and Cha Jun Ho, who tested positive on January 31, are also currently in quarantine and have no other symptoms aside from the sore throats that we mentioned yesterday.

Kim Dong Yun, Kim Min Seo, Alex, and all of [DRIPPIN’s] staff are currently in self-quarantine, and with the virus’s incubation period in mind, they plan to continue to repeatedly undergo PCR testing and use self-test kits to check their status.

Our agency considers the safety of our artists and staff our top priority, and as soon as we receive their test results, we will continue to take all necessary measures in keeping with the health authorities’ requests and guidelines.

On January 31, DRIPPIN’s agency Woolim Entertainment announced that the two members tested positive for the virus.

Our artists DRIPPIN’s Lee Hyeop and Cha Jun Ho have tested positive for COVID-19 on the morning of January 31.

On the morning of January 30, Cha Jun Ho used a self-test kit in order to appear on a music show and tested positive, so all the members underwent PCR testing. Lee Hyeop and Cha Jun Ho tested positive on the morning of January 31.

In response, we have halted all scheduled activities, and we are taking necessary measures according to the guidelines of the disease control authorities.

Currently, Lee Hyeop and Cha Jun Ho have only mild sore throat symptoms, and the members and related staff are in self-quarantine. Due to the virus’s incubation period, we will continue to conduct PCR tests and use self-test kits.
