"Moonshine" And "The One And Only" Change Broadcast Schedule Due To 2022 Winter Olympics

JTBC’s “The One and Only” will be joining KBS’s “Moonshine” in changing its broadcast schedule due to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Like “Moonshine,” “The One and Only” normally airs on Monday and Tuesday nights. Due to the Olympics, “The One and Only” will not air on Monday, February 7, and will broadcast two episodes in a row on Tuesday, February 8 instead. Episodes 15 and 16 of “The One and Only” will air from 10 p.m. KST on February 8.

KBS’s “Moonshine” has made the same changes to its schedule (see below).

Due to coverage of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, KBS 2TV’s “Moonshine” will be changing its broadcast schedule this week.

While “Moonshine” typically airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. KST, the historical drama will not be airing at its usual time on February 7 and 8. Instead of airing Episode 13 on February 7, “Moonshine” will air Episodes 13 and 14 back to back on February 8 starting at 10 p.m. KST.

On February 5, the producers of “Moonshine” officially announced, “Episodes 13 and 14 will be airing consecutively on Tuesday, February 8 at 10 p.m. KST. Please give [the episodes] lots of interest.”

“Moonshine” is a historical romance drama set in the Joseon era, during the time when prohibition laws were at their strongest. The series tells the love story of Kang Ro Seo, a struggling aristocrat who starts illegally making alcohol in order to support her family (played by Girl’s Day’s Hyeri), and Joseon’s greatest inspector Nam Young, who is known for living a very principled life (played by Yoo Seung Ho).
