Watch: Ahn Hyo Seop Confesses He Wants To Marry Kim Sejeong In New "A Business Proposal" Teaser
A new teaser for the upcoming drama “A Business Proposal” has been released!
Based on a popular web novel that has been adapted into a webtoon, “A Business Proposal” is a romantic comedy about an office employee who goes on a blind date with her company’s CEO in place of a friend while hiding her identity.
Ahn Hyo Seop will star as chaebol heir Kang Tae Mu, who has everything from looks and brains to wealth and business savvy. Meanwhile, Kim Sejeong will star as ordinary food researcher Shin Ha Ri, who stands in for her best friend and chaebol heiress Jin Young Seo (Seol In Ah) at a blind date with Kang Tae Mu.
In the beginning of the trailer, Kang Tae Mu remarks, “You know that out of all the projects I’ve done, I haven’t failed one,” to his grandfather Kang Da Goo (Lee Deok Hwa), who is the president of the company. The teaser captures Kang Tae Mu walking suavely and slicking his hair back at an airport, exuding the essence of an untouchable CEO. His grandfather says, “I’m assigning you a critical project,” prompting Kang Tae Mu to ask, “What kind of project?” Kang Tae Mu looks slightly concerned as he picks up a notebook titled “List of dating candidates” before his grandfather states, “Marriage!”
Shin Ha Ri’s friend Jin Young Seo begs her, “Please do your amazing performance just one more time so I can retire from the dating market!” Two brightly colored text screens read, “The very handsome CEO’s blind date with an employee who’s an acting genius.” Shin Ha Ri looks at the keycard to her company before exclaiming, “He’s the CEO!” and tripping awkwardly out of an elevator.
Shin Ha Ri runs through a revolving door, switching from her ordinary employee appearance to her date night persona. Kang Tae Mu narrates, “Even having two bodies wouldn’t be enough,” as Shin Ha Ri and Jin Young Seo hide in the stairwell of a building. Shin Ha Ri shields her face with a scarf, and the text on screen reads, “A risky office romance.” At the end of the trailer, Kang Tae Mu and Shin Ha Ri stand outside on a yacht, sun shining across their faces. Kang Tae Mu reaches his hand down towards Shin Ha Ri and says, “The one I want to marry is you.”

As previously announced, the premiere date for “A Business Proposal” has been pushed back one week. The first episode will now air on February 28 at 10 p.m. KST.
