Jin Goo Turns Into A Loving Father Who Is Desperate To Save His Daughter In "A Superior Day"
OCN has shared new stills of Jin Goo in the upcoming drama “A Superior Day”!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “A Superior Day” is a thriller about the 24-hour nightmare of an ordinary man who must save his kidnapped daughter by murdering the serial killer who lives next door.
Jin Goo will star as Lee Ho Chul, a firefighter who has to rescue his kidnapped daughter, while Ha Do Kwon will play Bae Tae Jin, a professional hitman who is chasing serial killer Kwon Si Woo (played by Lee Won Geun).
Lee Ho Chul is a man with a normal life. He is a loving father, and as the head of the household, he will do anything to protect his family. He often nags his daughter because of the dangerous world they live in, but his love for her never changes.
Newly released stills show Jin Goo flawlessly transforming into Lee Ho Chul. In one photo, Lee Ho Chul showcases charisma as a veteran firefighter. In his proud uniform, he searches the accident site with sharp eyes.
One day, Lee Ho Chul’s ordinary world turns upside down when he witnesses his daughter being kidnapped right in front of him. With no time to waste, he starts doing whatever he can to save her. The following still captures Lee Ho Chul’s desperation as he runs madly towards somewhere. He has a strong will to find his daughter, and his expression is shadowed with fury towards the kidnapper.
It will be interesting to see how Lee Ho Chul will rapidly change as he comes face to face with an extreme situation. The new stills amp up anticipation for Jin Goo’s performance as the actor portrays all kinds of emotions ranging from deep affection to explosive anger.
The producers of “A Superior Day” commented, “Jin Goo is an actor who expresses Lee Ho Chul’s complicated emotions that constantly change in an instant. Please pay attention to his gaze that will be just like Lee Ho Chul’s.”
“A Superior Day” will premiere on March 13 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out the teaser here!
