Update: CRAVITY's Woobin Tests Positive For COVID-19 A Week After Other Members

CRAVITY’s Woobin has tested positive for COVID-19.

On February 20, Starship Entertainment issued the following statement:

Hello, this is Starship Entertainment.

We are informing you that CRAVITY member Woobin tested positive for COVID-19 on February 20 (Sunday).

Previously on February 19 (Saturday), Woobin tested positive on a self-testing kit while in self-quarantine. He took a PCR test and tested positive for COVID-19 on February 20.

At present, Woobin is only experiencing a sore throat and no other symptoms. In accordance with the guidelines set by the health authorities, he will be undergoing treatment at home and resting.

We sincerely apologize once again for causing concerns to fans and staff with another confirmed COVID-19 case.

The agency will follow the guidelines set by government health authorities, and we will not hold back our support for the healthy recovery of our artist.

CRAVITY’s Wonjin has tested positive for COVID-19.

On February 16, Starship Entertainment released the following statement:

Hello.

This is Starship Entertainment.

We are informing you that CRAVITY member Wonjin tested positive for COVID-19 on February 15 (Tuesday).

Previously on February 12 (Saturday), Wonjin received a negative test result through a PCR test, and he was in self-quarantine. During quarantine, Wonjin experienced symptoms of a fever and a sore throat, so he carried out a test using a self-testing kit. After checking that he tested positive, he received a PCR test and tested positive for COVID-19 on February 15.

Currently, the members are concentrating on treatment and rest at home in keeping with the guidelines set by government health authorities. Woobin checked that he tested negative with a self-testing kit, and he is continuing to self-quarantine separately while checking with the self-testing kit.

Seven members of CRAVITY have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On February 12, Starship Entertainment issued the following statement:

Hello, this is Starship Entertainment.

We are informing you about Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin testing positive for COVID-19 and [the group’s] future schedule.

On the evening of February 11 (Friday), Taeyoung showed symptoms of a fever, so all the members tested themselves using self-test kits. [The results of] Hyeongjun’s self-test kit came out positive, so all the members immediately visited the hospital for PCR testing. As a result, Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin were diagnosed with COVID-19.

All CRAVITY members received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and they have been participating in their schedules after testing themselves with self-test kits and checking their negative results.

Currently, the members don’t have any symptoms other than fever and sore throat, and they are waiting for directions from the disease control authorities following their PCR test results.

The members who have tested positive are being quarantined at home for treatment and rest, while Woobin and Wonjin, who tested negative, are in self-quarantine.

CRAVITY will immediately halt their scheduled activities and focus on treatment. In consideration of the artists’ health and self-quarantine period, we would like to inform you that the release of the promotional content of CRAVITY’s album “LIBERTY : IN OUR COSMOS,” which is Part 2 [of their first album], and the album release on February 22 have been postponed.
