Lee Seung Gi Diagnosed With COVID-19; Reassures Fans With Sweet Message And Childhood Photo

Lee Seung Gi has shared a reassuring message for his fans after testing positive for COVID-19.

On February 15, Lee Seung Gi’s agency Hook Entertainment confirmed reports that the singer and actor had temporarily halted all activities due to being diagnosed with COVID-19.

A representative of the agency stated, “Today, Lee Seung Gi used a self-test kit before a [scheduled] advertisement shoot. As soon as he learned that his result was positive, he immediately halted all scheduled activities. Afterwards, he underwent PCR testing, and his results came back positive.”

Hook Entertainment also confirmed that Lee Seung Gi had previously received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, adding, “He is currently in self-isolation. He will adhere to the guidelines of government health authorities.”

Shortly afterwards, Lee Seung Gi took to Instagram Stories to share an update on his health. The star first posted a screenshot of an article about his diagnosis, adding in the caption, “How did an article [get published] at the speed of light like this?”

He then reassured his fans by posting an adorable childhood photo and writing, “Because many people have been worrying and contacting me~ I just have ordinary cold-like symptoms, so please don’t worry too much. I’ll recover quickly and greet you again in good health~!! Thank you to the many people who have been worrying about me.”
