B.I is heading for the global scene after signing a contract with American agency Wasserman!
On February 17, B.I’s agency IOK Company revealed, “Recently, B.I signed a contract with Wasserman, a major American agency. It’s an American agency in charge of numerous global artists including Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran, and Skrillex. Tom Windish, who represents Billie Eilish and has a strong influence on the American entertainment industry, will serve as B.I’s agent.”
B.I also previously began a partnership with American agency Transparent Arts, amping up the excitement for his continued global promotions. Just last month, B.I attended the Grammys Global Spin event, becoming the first Asian and K-pop artist to be featured.
In March 2021, B.I kicked off his journey as a solo artist with “Midnight Blue” and dropped his first full-length album “WATERFALL” in May. The album went on to top iTunes Album Charts in 24 countries and was named on TIME’s list of “The Best K-Pop Songs and Albums of 2021.” B.I’s latest comeback was this past November with “COSMOS.”
